It is pliable – ensuring a tight seal, even at extremely low temperatures – and its oriented polypropylene backing is formulated with a UV-treated film to help resist degradation from exposure to sunlight.

<b>DuPont™ Building Envelope Tape</b> is part of a complete CAN/ULC S742 air barrier system in Canada when used on DuPont™ Styrofoam™ Brand XPS Insulation and DuPont™ Tyvek® DrainWrap™ CA.

In the US, <b>DuPont™ Building Envelope Tape</b> is specially formulated with elevated adhesion on Tyvek® CommercialWrap™ D.
